I havn´t done a lot of drawings the last months as Uni keeps me busy! It is my last year and a crucial one for me, but so far I have done fine with exams. Unfortunately my drawings come a bit short but it will be my last semester so I am looking forward for having more free time afterwards!

I have been in Austria last week and it was my first proper cold winter since I started studies here in Wales! I have not been at home during winter since 4 years now - and it was freezing! I wished I could carry a warm cosy house with me at all time just like a snail and just like that one above. This snail can be found in the western part of Austria up in the mountains and is carrying a alpine cabin with it, which keeps him warm at any time.

I am sorry for the bad quality of the picture, I really have to get a better camera!

Crazy parrot which loves to play cards

I finished my studies in Spain and now Iam back again in Austria for the whole summer before I head back to continue my studies in Wales. I already got a fulltime job and I try to use any free minute to update my blog.

The last week I have spent in Alicante I saw a swarm of parrots flying around my balcony. It was soooo beautiful to watch! Iam used to see sparrows, swallows, woodpeckers etc. but it was the first time I saw such colourful and exotic birds in real live! Inspired by this memory I made a crazy parrot this time - again with a strange hat.

As well my little brother teached me how to play a card game called "Schnapsen" which is very popular here in Austria. I totally falled in love with that game and so did my crazy parrot!

"El mafioso" from the south

This beautiful dog is a friend of the british dogs from Napoli in the south of Italy. He might not come from the same society as his british friends and appear dangerous, but has a soft heard and makes a great guardian!

I really love this kind of dog! But Iam not sure if I could handle it alone since they are really huge and heavy!

Close friend of the english bulldog

I did already post my new drawing yesterday but due some problems with the blog it dissapeared and I hope it wont happen again as this beagle really wants to stay among his friends here!

It is a british beagle and a very close friend of the english bulldog. They share the same passions for fashion, ascott hats and tea as you can see!

I really started to like a lot to draw ascott hats! Its like everything is allowed to put on that hat and there are as good as no limitation which makes it so big fun to draw them! And by the way - they look beautiful!

Ice princess

Another little drawing from my sketchbook. Its a greyhound which fullfilled his dream dancing as a prima ballerina on ice! (I looked up the word for figure skater but I thought it doesnt sound as nice and dreamy as prima ballerina on ice or ice princess! So I changed it.)

Tea under the moon shine

This unusual couple is having a romantic tea time under the moonshine. Its their very first date and they are a bit shy as you can see!
I bought a sketchbook to keep it in my handbag in order to make little drawings whenever I find time to do it. This one is the result of an 8 houers waiting time at an airport where I was sitting in a coffee bar and used my new sketchbook for the first time! Glad I got one because from now on waiting time flies!

Stay put cheeky mouse!

This cat is not very happy about the querky mouse which tries to steal a little nip from his tea cup. But if its about tea, this cat doesnt understand any jokes! I think his eyes speak already words!
